Pranav Mistry es diseñador, ingeniero e inventor. Actualmente estudia y trabaja en el Instituto Tecnológico deMassachusetts (MIT). Al dedicarse diseño y tecnología ha realizado diferentes patentes para enlazar el mundo real con el tecnológico. Visionando y dando a esta serie de patentes el nombre de SixthSence technology (el sexto sentido tecnológico).

INVENTION OF THE YEAR 2009 award by Popular Science
2nd in SPACE competition in SIGGRAPH2004.
1st in Innovation Fair at India level, for MARBO.
Best Paper in USID2007 for ‘Akshar’.
3rd in National Open Hardware at IIT Bombay for DATAG2.02
3rd in Creative art competition organized by ISRO.
1st in Design competition organized by IEEE.
Dirubhai Ambani Foundation Award for securing 1st rank in district (SSC).
2nd in on the spot Model Making contest at techfest2001 at IIT Bombay.
